Central Iowa´s premier nine hole disc golf course, Southwoods park is both a thrill and a challenge. A testing mix of short and long holes. Fairways are often open but with a very thick rough to punish any wayward shots. Several holes feature narrow flight paths, stressing acurate throws. Des Moines´ best elevation changes highlight this course throughout. Pro tees average over 365 feet per hole. Amateur tees averaging 245 feet are available for beginners.\r\n
